I'm So Glad Jesus Set Me Free

I first believed the Gospel and was baptised when I was 8 years old. At about the age of ten I began to wonder about the doctrines that are wrapped up in words like election, sovereignty, and free-will. By the time I was 16 I was completely convinced of the truth of Calvinism. (My dad, who is Arminian was not happy about this.) I am so glad the Orthodox Church found me before I did something as stupid as getting a tatoo of TULIP on my arm.

Matt:

As a semi-new Calvinist, I've considered such drastic things as the TULIP Tatoo (not literally). We opted to name our new puppy dog Calvin and that seems to be an appropriate amount of zeal for the time being.

I've decided that if I reach my weight-loss goal on my diet, I'm going to get a tatoo that says "favor dei propter christum"...probably on my upper arms or something.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I know some monks who named their dog Origen for the obvious reason.

Andy, being a calvinist can be dangerous. The logic is seductive. Never stop reading the Gospels. Never stop believing that Jesus really means everything he says.
