Migrant Mother

Maybe this story makes me cry because I am a Californian, and all the places named are familiar to me, one being the place of my birth. Or that my great grandmother is Cherokee. Or that my parents worked as harvesters. Or that my Dad is from Oklahoma. I don't know. But you should read it.

I have the same heritage - Dust Bowl grandparents and Central California, so it speaks to me as well. Thank you.

Get ready - Obama's bringing the New Deal back, so people in "work" camps will be the "silver bullet" to fix America. Right now its all about the Green Economy to turn us around and we get to subjugate the individual to the state - hhmm, this is all starting to sound so familiar...

FDR was a Wilsonian Progressive or Socialist and Obama and Clinton are early Twentieth century Progressives - exactly what Wilson called himself.

Past is prologue.

Lord have mercy.
