Jeff, these are the coolest services of the Orthodox Church a non-Orthodox can attend. They are the Festal Vigils. What makes them cool? You'll have to come and find out.

HOly Cross Vigil is AWESOME! WIth the four (five?) Lord Have Mercy 100x! It is one of my fave services of the year and I'm sorry to miss it at the Cathedral: it's fun to sing those Lord Have Mercys to that tune.
I'm not sure what we'll do in the Antiochian/Byzantine tradition.
I was looking at the wrong calendar. I get to go! I get to go!
